Geriatricians & Internists
Geriatrics / Internal Medicine Physician position with Senior Medical Associates, the leading multi-specialty long term care medical group in San Diego. We are a dedicated team driven by compassion, achievement, responsibility, excellence and support.
The ideal candidate will have Geriatrics experience with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Candidate will provide direct clinical care to patients in a choice of settings across our network of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, home health agencies and hospice agencies. May have opportunities to serve as Medical Director for nursing homes, home health and/or hospice. Our physicians enjoy highly flexible schedules and competitive salaries ranging from $200,000 to over $300,000 depending on responsibility and preferred pace of service. Minimal call. Nurse practitioner support available. Part time/Full Time. We cater to each provider’s desired work locations and personal goals.
Nurse Practitioners
We believe in the power of nurse practitioners to help make healthcare work, both today and for our future. We have a Clinical Director for Advance Practice Nursing who provides support to our NPs and advances the quality and safety of our NP programs. We are partnering with local institutions to develop a post-graduate psychiatric NP residency program to build a workforce more adept and inspired to care for the severely mentally ill.
OUTPATIENT
We staff several dozen well run, comfortably-paced, non-profit outpatient mental health clinics serving the severe and persistently mentally ill (SMI) as well as other complex and underserved specialty populations . Most programs include wrap around staffing with on site therapists, case managers and nurses to maximize successful treatment and a safe workplace. No call. No weekends. When positions are available, we offer full and part time options with great benefits packages.
INPATIENT
Work with a supervising psychiatrist to provide inpatient care to underserved psychiatric inpatients in North San Diego. When positions are available we offer weekend, full and part time options. No call.
