What is a Neurology?

Neurology is a medical specialty for diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and cranial/peripheral nerves. These disorders can present in a variety of symptoms, such as headache, dizziness, nerve pain, sensory loss, weakness, movement problems, or cognitive decline.

Neurological disorders in this population include: stroke/TIA, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and sleep disorder.  We have particular strength in providing diagnosis, prognosis, and management of cognitive disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease.
