MEET DR. DAVID TWEEDY

Psychologist, community leader, philanthropist

Quickly coming up on nine years as a leader of the Senior Medical Associates team, Dave is one of the most dynamic healthcare executives you’ll ever meet. He’s compassionate, easy to talk with, and delivers results in operations, business development, and program implementation.

Dave’s the guy you want to speak with when you’re looking for answers, whether you’re a C-suite executive, professional peer, or patient. He’s earned his PhD in Psychology from US International University, Executive Master’s in Health Administration (USC), as well as a Clinical Psychologist license and Executive Coach Certificate. Dave’s been coaching and mentoring senior executives, staff, entrepreneurs, corporations, and individuals for 20+ years, with a focus in hospital managers, directors and executives.

Our Sr. VP/Business Development’s expertise in leadership assessment and emotional intelligence areas is tough to match, and he utilizes it to prepare and facilitate team building exercises and group productivity strategies to maximize workplace success. He was previously elected by the Carlsbad, Vista and Oceanside (CA) communities to the Board of Directors at the Tri-City Medical Center, and served as Chair of TCMC Foundation Board of Trustees for two terms.

As President of the Carlsbad Rotary Club, Dave regularly works with dozens of San Diego County’s movers and shakers, all sharing the philosophy of Service Above Self.
